Industry fund to white-label clearing house

The SuperChoice clearing house will partner with Australia’s newest industry fund in an attempt to provide the fund’s employers with a streamlined way to manage their superannuation contributions online.

The new partnership will see Energy Super, which was recently created following the merger between energy industry funds ESI Super and SPEC Super, launch a dedicated and branded clearing house website for its employers.

The transactional website offers what claims to be a ‘one-stop shop’, enabling participating Energy Super employers to manage both default and choice-of-fund superannuation contribution remittance.

Energy Super CEO Robyn Petrou said she expected the fund’s larger employers would  benefit from the streamlined approach to paying their employees’ contributions.

“It eradicates the need for employers to develop their own individual software and systems to manage super contribution payments. As you can imagine, with some of our employers contributing to hundreds or even thousands of employees, this can represent a big saving of time and money.”
