Aon signs on Pillar’s State Super star

Aon Australia has appointed one of Pillar Administration’s most senior people, State Super relationship manager Angela Wade, to run its super administration team.

Wade will report to Grant Sandstrom, Aon’s administration outsourcing head, who said Wade’s experience in super and call centre management would be valuable. Wade replaces Collette Colman, who has joined Watson Wyatt in an Asian-based role. Pillar chief executive, Peter Cormack, was on leave at presstime and unavailable for comment on the status of a replacement for Wade, who left late last month. Wade said she was excited to be working for a multinational company whose super admin business covered all aspects of a member’s lifecycle. The Aon Master Trust, the platform used by most of Aon’s super admin outsourcing clients, is a smaller proposition than State Super. It has $1.4 billion under management on behalf of 58,000 members and 600 employers, while State Super has $24 billion and 200,000 members and pensioners.
