The three leading super funds research and ratings firms will present a jointly prepared 10-point checklist of how they assess funds at the next Fund Executives Association Ltd luncheon series.
The luncheons, in Melbourne at the Westin Hotel on May 23 and Sydney at the Four Seasons Hotel on May 25, will discuss super fund benchmarking tools and how fund executives and boards can do a health check of their fund. Warren Chant, of Chant West, Jeff Bresnahan of SuperRatings and Chris Page, of Rainmaker Information, agreed to work together to present super fund executives with an outline of the 10 most important elements of a super fund’s operations for ratings assessment purposes. They will also detail how each research firm approaches the different elements for assessment. The May FEAL lunches, sponsored by Janus Capital Group, which recently set up an Australian office, will be free to members. Information: www.feal.asn.au
